Rehearsal January 23

Everyone	Instead of everyone running off – stay a little.  Eliana sells flowers, Ramzi shows someone his painting, Clayton sells bread. What about – lovers wake up and quickly discuss how they look, what they should do and exit. Bottom does his lines about waking up. Mechanicals get ready for the play.  Move lines 217(cut Lysander’s half asleep half waking)  , 218, 219 to right before Titania’s line 222. Quiet backstage Do not walk in front of the projector Be prepared for cues Watch curtains
Egeus, Demetrius, Lysander, Hermia, Titania	React when Theseus says society of men.  We need vocals. We need vocals underscoring the speech by Theseus.
Theseus	Faster telling Egeus, etc to go with you.
Lysander	Faster on my love.
Oberon	Don’t do muscles – hands outspread
Fairy scene	Move more left stage so it is not right stage heavy
Helena	See video about the dog.  Slow down. Louder – deeper voice
Theseus	What thou seeist… sooner
Hermia or Helena	Quicker entrance stay sweet Demetrius.
Fairies & Hermia	Need to see Hermia before fairies overcome her.
Mechanicals & music	Faster on entrance -
Theseus	Late on your line after mechanical scene
Demetrius	If stool is in front of the tree, sleep in front of the stool.
Riley	Fixation of a dream thunder

Thisbe	Different voice.
Oberon, Theseus, Demetrius, Helena	Slow down and hit consonants.
Hermia	Louder & deeper

	* Frog to the beat of Kate’s song * When the couples awake w they’re correct pairs Helena and Hermia hug. Should Lysander and Demetrius shake hands? * Last moon needs to change Critiques- * Sam- “Oh spite” maybe a little more exited? Take a moment to let Hermia and Lysander exit. Look more to the crowd instead of the ground. Be more scared of Hermia when you ask for them not to let her strike you * Clayton- React to the part of Thysby. * Colin- Deeper voice as Oberon.       Hit “I am invisible” * Tre- Pause on mischief a little more. K Better than last time though. Know your cues. * Alee- Also needs a different voice as Titania. Louder when in bed w Ramzi. * Eli- Slow down on the sanitarium line. Memorize lines and cues * Fix the moon in the back * Hannah- enter sooner after “bid the do”. Louder * Carter- know you’re cue * Overall the first part of the play is fast and on point. The second half is slower but that will come w practice. Everyone	People noises No one except mechanicals and royalty walk on 4 X 8 WE NEED TO SEE HERMIA PULLED INTO WATER DO NOT PAINT COSTUMES INSIDE – GO OUTSIDE OR BEHIND STAGE ON PLASTIC.
Puck	I have a dream not I had a dream
Jaden	Mrs. Haney has the music for you.  I had forgotten I am gone Tuesday
Music	Trumpet was late before first mechanical scene
Riley	Do not play insects until scene 4 Thunder louder – use the speaker during the times I have written thunder. Insects were too loud Derision - thunder
Ramzi clayton	People noises while you are arguing
fairies	Practice are not you he? People noises
Colin	There sleeps Titania with love potion – memorize Then crush the herb – memorize In faith
Kate	Show fairies how to cling to trees ladders, etc
Mia	Down all the way as a rock
Stick people	Rehearse movements again with Oberon and Titania – Eli watch them.
Lovers	First leap frog was good – second looked staged.
tre	Work on the part we talked about Borrow foil from kitchen When you and Helena wake up – be positioned so we see you – can’t see your face because you are faced toward mayor’s town
Titania fairies bottom	People noises
Pyramus	Faster entrance – see the shield that Luke made and get the conquistador helmet
Clayton & taylor	During fifth tomorrow can you paint the spider web?  Easier to paint with it hanging.  You may have to dip fingers in glow in dark paint and apply.  Glow in dark paint is on edge of desk.

Hermia and Lysander - great entrance

Kate - confederacy line - means trickery

Skipped lines with lovers - look at those
